Vinyl Scratch Final Showcase Winners

go back

Last night Tileyard Education hosted the Final Showcase of the Second Season of the Vinyl Scratch.

The Vinyl Scratch is a monthly open mic night hosted by Tileyard Education at Two Tribes Brewery, based at Tileyard London. Sponsors include Kazbar Systems, Esoteric Pro Audio and Aston Mics.

On the first Tuesday of each month, Tileyard Education has graced the Two Tribes stage with 12 new acts, signed up based on a first come first served basis. The event has also featured guests including drag queens, Peter Hince (Freddie Mercury’s 12-year roadie), The Voice UK and Channel 4’s new TV series “Songland”.

Each month the event has attracted new and emerging UK and international talent, as well as old friends and Tileyard Education’s own masters students. Over the series, the top 2 performers have been selected each month and invited back to take part in the final showcase.

Last night, the past rounds’ winners returned to play to a panel of industry judges from Tileyard Music, Big Indie Records, HotVox, PMR Records and Ripple Red Management. The judges voted for their favourite acts to amount to 3 final winners.

A special thanks to all of the performers, who all gave an amazing performance. Final performers included Will Hanco, Greg Noyce, Eye Cue, Olliday, Yorkia, Ed Butler, Giuseppe Basco, Sunny Gray, Vincent Bugozi and Kileza.

It was a hard choice for the judges, but they the favourites were as follows…
