It has been a pleasure to build and grow our partnership with the renowned University of Wales Trinity St David. Over the past 3 years, the University and Tileyard Education have embarked upon many exciting projects. Launching together our flagship MA Music Business Course in 2017, followed by the MA Commercial Music Producer in 2018, the collaboration has gone from strength to strength.
Both Masters programmes run for one year, full time, and are both delivered at the Tileyard Education campus at Tileyard London, in the heart of London’s Kings Cross, with the support of the facilities at the UWTSD campus in Oval.
Both universities are delighted to launch two new programmes together, following the success of the current masters programmes.
Harry Leckstein, Managing Director to Tileyard Education said:
“It has been great to work alongside a University with such a reputable placement in the higher education community, and we are always looking for new ways to strengthen the partnership and offer, innovative, unique and practical music education. I cannot wait for the launch of the next two programmes to continue to successfully feed talent back into the music industry”
The MA International Music Marketing in an industry-centric course also includes regular, large-scale industry networking events, an unrivalled master class series featuring case study insights from many of the companies working with Tileyard, a one-to-one mentoring programme, an international industry placement module and access to the annual calendar of events held on-site at Tileyard London. Students work on live commercial briefs throughout their studies and the programme includes the opportunity to pitch your Creative Marketing Project to the Tileyard investment fund. This is the first course like it, of its kind, to feed the demand of the industry’s need for more music marketers.
The MA Commercial Music Producer (Online Blended) is a one year, practical and industry-focused Master of Arts Degree, delivered via a combination of online interactive media and face-to-face delivery and is designed for the technically proficient, aspiring or established commercial producer seeking to learn interactively online, balancing their professional lifestyle and work commitments with a more flexible approach to study and career.
The online focus of MA Commercial Music Producer online means it is possible for international students to interact with Tileyard, and be able to keep their professional commitments. All online students are also invited to Tileyard for a 10-day songwriting and business boot camp, to collaborate with professionals, and meet the Tileyard Education team.
Both courses will be making their debut on Jan 13 2020. To read more, or to make an application to either of the courses, you can register interest here.
