On September 4, we are calling out to all future artist managers, label owners, music marketers, entrepreneurs and musical innovators. Due to the success of our first event, we are delighted to announce Tileyard Education’s Second Music Industry Day. This event is Promotions and Marketing focused and great for those who want to kick-start their career in the music business.
The talks are designed for those who would like to develop a 360-degree view of the music industry, the afternoon-long event will feature a series of panel talks and discussions featuring PR experts, music marketeers, branding experts and more.
The day will comprehend a series of 3-panel discussions.
1:15-2:15 pm – WHAT MAKES A GOOD PR CAMPAIGN?
We talk to PR company Longevity PR, music managers and publishers Tileyard Music, and artist manager Cherryl from Ripple Red on what makes a successful artist campaign.
2:45 – 3:45 pm – MARKETING THE BUSINESS
A talk with Tileyard Music, Big Indie and Karma Artists on what makes a good artist manager. From touring to mental health, we’ll get down to the nuts and bolts of looking after your artists.
3:15 – 4:00pm – MARKETING THE BUSINESS
We talk to Autonomy and other music marketeers on successful marketing campaigns, what has worked, what is current and what is redundant. In an ever-changing industry, from influencers to print, what is the best channel for marketing music?
4.30 – 5.30 pm – BRANDING YOUR MUSIC
We talk to senior branding experts and image makers on how to brand your music. From logo creation, to taking the right portrait, we talk to a series of expert creatives to impart advice on how to create and sustain a consistent brand image.
Wind down with us at the bar and grab a drink as the event draws to a close. Finish time – 6 pm.
