We’re delighted to announce our first MA Showcase of 2019. This showcase is in collaboration with Kennesaw State University.
For our very special headline, we are featuring Maki Flow. One of our current MA Songwriting and Production students. She started her musical journey at a very young age, inspired by the pictures of her grandad playing the sax in crowded clubs and she built her own artistry by growing up listening to an eclectic mix of genres and powerful singers and today soulful vocals, R’nB oriented melodies and honest lyrics are her hallmarks. Today, her solo releases count almost 2 Million streams on Spotify alone.She finished 2018 by releasing the song ‘Teenage Love’ with the dance duo Wallaby. It reached 100k stream in less than a week and was featured on over 15 playlists on Spotify including ‘Mint Canada’ and ‘New Music Friday’ in Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Thailand, Iceland and Netherland.

We’ll also be featuring Adam Wedd, a current student of the MA Songwriting & Production course. Adam is a prolific songwriter and artist from London. Adam has featured on over 60 radio stations worldwide, been featured on BBC Introducing several times, and has also been #2 in the UK Student Radio Charts. He most recently sold out his show at ‘St Pancras Old Church’ for an intimate showcase with other talented guest performers.

Archie XN TricK, a current student of MA Songwriting & Production will also be performing. Archie XN TricK is influenced by rap, hiphop and grime, his music emphasises his passion for words and lyrical word play. Archie is a story teller, with elements of humour, and tones of simplicity. Archie is also a multi-instrumentalist, he plays the sax, flute and guitar, creating a vibrant, organic and authentic sound.
Sirena Grace is our very special guest, all the way from Kennesaw State University. She is a Queens native with a fiery passion burning bright since day one. The powerhouse vocalist combines her Latin flare and pop elements with energizing vocals and melodies. Her early musical influences come from her Dominican and Salvadorian roots as well as hip-hop influences from NY. She has been inspired by the lyrical messages of artists like Michael Jackson and Selena. Sirena’s motivation is to get you on your feet and spread her message of unity and love.
