Singer-songwriter, Emily Craig, will be launching her first single, ‘How Are You?’ on Friday 24th April 2020. Written whilst living abroad in France and Spain, the song, ‘How are You?’, reflects on missing loved ones. Emily Craig blends smooth honeyed vocals with honest lyrics. A refined storyteller, she paints images to a soundscape of soaring melodies with her undeniably pure, yet powerful, voice.

Emily arrives on the music scene as a fresh new talent. Having been trained classically in voice and piano as a teenager she continued to perform all genres of music whilst studying languages at University College London where she sang with jazz and live bands at venues across the capital including The Adelphi Theatre and Ronnie Scott’s.
A combination of her love of music, writing and languages influenced Emily to craft a repertoire of original material in three languages while she was living in France and Spain. She was inspired by stories of the people she met whilst busking on the streets of Granada, weekly jazz fusion jams in Lyon and living in a house of 19 students from all over the world. She subsequently recorded some of these songs as demos at producer Youth’s Space Mountain Studio in Sierra Nevada.
Since returning to the UK, Emily has brought her music to some of the capital’s acclaimed intimate venues including The Water Rats, Folklore, Paper Dress Vintage and Camden’s Spiritual Bar. Performing on both piano and guitar, Emily has already gained a loyal following.
