Congratulations Eva for being awarded the Key Production bursary by their CEO Karen Emanuel.
Studying music at the University of Westminster, Eva soon realised the need to have good business head to make it in this competitive industry of ours.
Following work experience at a music label Eva, set up a label of her own and has shown great focus in juggling the label and her studies. As this year has progressed she has shown herself adept at taking on the mountain of information thrown her way and converting it into some expectational work. Eva’s focus on trying to develop innovative digital marketing techniques, combined with her ambition and drive, has continued to impress us and is definitely the reason Karen awarded her the Key Production bursary.
Karen started in the music business booking bands and DJ-ing at Leeds university. Soon she was climbing the ladder in the male-dominated sector, at Rough Trade Distribution. She then saw opportunity in her redundancy and started Key Production, which specialises in the design and manufacture of Vinyl, CDs, DVDs and cassettes plus bespoke packaging for both music and a growing list of other industries. Through first organic growth and then a series of acquisitions that added knowledge and expertise to the company, Key Production Group now comprises 56 people at four offices in England and is the leader in its field.
The drive, ambition and entrepreneurship that has seen Karen become a key figure in the industry, is the same qualities that Eva has shown and as a result Key Production have awarded her £3,000 and an industry mentorship. Tileyard Education are immensely proud of Eva’s achievements to date and cannot wait to see how she takes advantage of this great opportunity.
