Game sound pathway at Tileyard Education
The Games Industry market is expected to reach $132 Billion by 2030 and game making and e-sports programs are becoming very popular. Therefore Tileyard want to reflect this industry trend in our marketing and education, to ensure we have a diverse offering to satisfy the needs of our students.
Although both the music and games pathways complete identical modules during Term 1, the content is modified with relevance to the chosen specialisation. During Term 2, Game Sound will complete the ‘Creative Media Techniques (games)’ and Games Industry Landscape to look at the tools and workflows within video game creation and to enhance students’ understanding of the industry.
Entry requirements for a music production postgraduate
Regarding Taleyard’s course entry requirements, applicants are considered with a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in an appropriate equivalent qualification, or at least 3 years of industry experience. Assessment is based upon your application form, portfolio, academic assessments and interviews.
