Katia Isakoff

Katia Isakoff is a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist music producer with album releases by Mute Records, EMI, BMG, Metamatic and Altersonic; syncs, performances and commissions for TV and film through TBWA, Showtime and others.  Notably, she is one of the first women record producers contracted by a non-classical UK record label, and one of the first commercial studio owners.  

The founder of two non-profit organisations and a leading advocate for women in music production, Katia recognised early on in her career the importance of knowledge sharing, mentorship and research. She is committed to dividing her time between industry and academia, teaching, writing and leading music production and media modules within the B.A., BSc and M.A. programmes at UK universities. This has led to her establishing Women Produce Music (WPM), a non-profit organisation working with its network and partners to remove entry level and career progression barriers.
