Over 8 immersive weeks, this hands-on course takes you inside the world of K-Pop songwriting and production, where you don’t just learn – you create.
Each class combines expert-led teaching with a live songwriting challenge, pushing you to craft verses and choruses to real beats, record them, and receive professional feedback. From dissecting global K-Pop hits and mastering melody, hooks, and bilingual lyric writing, to understanding Korean studio etiquette, industry workflows, and collaboration in our own K-pop songwriting camps, you’ll build both creative and cultural fluency.
By the end, you’ll have sharpened your skills, grown your portfolio, and be equipped with the confidence and know-how to pitch songs to the global K-Pop market—with the option to take your work straight to Korea and connect with industry teams.

Week 1 – The Global K-Pop Ecosystem & Tileyard Advantage
Led by Liam Geddes. Liam Geddes is a #1 Billboard and Platinum Certified Songwriter and Producer. Liam’s worked extensively with K-pop and his work has also been featured in movies, television shows, and commercials around the world working with the likes of Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, FOX TV, The Cw Network, Nickelodeon among others.

Week 4 – K-Pop Industry, Culture, Etiquette & Workflow
- Cultural norms in Korea: bowing, studio manners, hierarchy, and respect in the writing room
- Practical studio etiquette: removing shoes, arriving prepared, being ready to record immediately
- Workflows & professional systems: song registration, collection, publishing differences between UK and Korea
- Cultural mindset: how speed, focus, and professionalism are emphasised; how to navigate language and communication differences
