David Ambrose has been in the music industry for more than 40 years as both a practitioner and as an artist’s manager. Starting his career as a musician, he has played with the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart and Arthur Brown. This set him up for a career working in music at EMI Records where he was Artist Manager for bands such as The Sex Pistols, Blondie, Kate Bush and AC/DC. He later became A&R Manager for EMI where David signed artists such as Duran Duran, The Petshop Boys and Hazel Dean. He later became the Managing Director of MCA/Universal Records and London Records/Polygram. David is still a practising artist and songwriter and now manages Shed Records.
