Join us in conversation with Paul Humphreys for a night of A&R feedback at Tileyard London.
Paul Humphreys started his career as an artist manager aged seventeen. Since then, his twelve-year career has seen him involved with a diverse mainstream roster from Iggy Azalea to Kodaline.
After setting up and running his own management company and label, Paul later joined Sarah Stennett’s First Access Entertainment team (Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha) where his first project was Iggy Azalea. He worked within the hugely successful team on all aspects including A&R, branding, live and more. Iggy went on to become the first artist to simultaneously claim the number one and two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S.
More recently, Paul co-managed Irish pop rock band Kodaline, overseeing the strategy to cement the bands place in the current market. In 2016, Kodaline sold out 38,000 tickets in one night at their headline show in Marlay Park. In 2018, they sold out another 25,000 at Malahide Castle. On top of that, the last few years has seen them headlining festivals from the U.S, through Europe and across to Asia, selling out arenas as they went. They have accumulated close to a billion streams on Spotify alone and have sold in excess of a million albums. Paul’s involvement covered all aspects of marketing, digital, press, TV, release campaigns, A&R, live, branding and more.
Alongside all of this, Paul has maintained a small, independent label through which he has guided and developed countless up and coming artists.
