Tileyard Education is delighted to announce its first ever International Songwriting Camp.
The International Songwriting Camp is a 4-day practical songwriting retreat held on 5th-9th September. The camp is for aspiring and established songwriters, artists and producers. Located 1 hour from Barcelona, nestled in the heart of the Spanish countryside, the venue is a large, traditional 18th-century villa completely renovated to ensure a comfortable stay in spacious surroundings.
On the camp, attendees will get to work with some of Tileyard’s top producers, including Jon Kelly, Paul Whalley and Tom Fuller. Jon Kelly’s credits include Kate Bush, Paul McCartney, Deacon Blue and The Beautiful South. Joined with him will be Tom Fuller whose credits include David Guetta ft Kelly Rowland, Janet Devlin, Salt Ashes, Tom Walker and Anne Marie. Paul Whalley has also worked with some incredible names, his credits include Mumford and Sons, Lost Frequency, Take That, Tara Priya and many more.
The camp can take up to 20 people and will run for 5 days. Each guest will be invited to collaborate and work with peers and professionals, responding to live commercial briefs. On hand will be a coordinating team, and each day, writers will be placed in different groups, to gain the most of their collaborative experience. The price of the camp is £899, and includes a catered breakfast, lunch and communal dinner, to inspire more space for creative ideas to flow and networking.
All tracks written on the camp will be sent to the brief owner and the wider network of Tileyard A&R executives, for potential cuts.
This is an incredible opportunity and experience for any aspiring artists, songwriters or producers to expand their networks and to learn how to write collaboratively, whilst lapping up the sun, in the backdrop of the beautiful Spanish countryside.
Places are going to go quick, so we recommend enquiring soon. To apply for the camp, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info, and an application form.
