The Tileyard campus sits off York Way at the northern end of the new Kings Cross creative quarter, a 10-minute walk from King’s Cross station passed the head offices for Universal Music Group, PRS, Google, The Guardian and Central Saint Martins.
Spread out across 180,000 square feet, Tileyard Studios still feels like a tucked-away community of creatives, isolated from the noise and bustle of the city outside.
Stand a while though under the canopy of the Vinyl Bar and Restaurant and the community comes alive as artists, producers, managers and new tech entrepreneurs dart between studios and offices or head into Vinyl for a quick coffee and a meeting.
This is what a true creative collective looks like. Literally hundreds of complementary and like-minded producers, songwriters, artists, labels, managers and creative entrepreneurs creating content, sharing ideas, collaborating on projects, pitching for new business and ultimately reducing their overheads through collective, shared resources. The power of many.
We believe Tileyard Education provides aspiring creatives and entrepreneurs with a unique opportunity to study with and alongside this vibrant and diverse professional community. We look forward to seeing you here.
You can get a tour of the community during one of our Open Days. These are monthly, ticketed evening events from 5pm to 7pm in small intimate groups. As a result, availability is limited. Book your free ticket HERE

No creative community would be complete without a place to refuel, relax and connect and Vinyl Cafe is literally the beating heart of Tileyard. It’s always a hive of social activity and is the perfect place to grab a coffee, eat lunch, meet new people and discuss the next big thing. The staff are super friendly, the food is made fresh daily and the coffee is sublime! There’s opportunities to showcase live to the lunchtime crowd and in the evening the fully licensed bar often plays host to more social events and networking. It’s a well known fact that more deals are struck in Vinyl Cafe that anywhere else in Tileyard!
Being a part of the Tileyard community provides the best environment for building and maintaining your creative contacts and the highlight of our social calendar has to be the Notting Hill Music Networking parties, held on the last Thursday of the month from March to December in and around the Vinyl Cafe. The parties are free and open to all creative people across music, film, TV, games, design, fashion, theatre and new media. Often attended by more than 700 people the parties are a goldmine of new contacts and a chance to catch up with colleagues and friends.
