An essential, hands-on weekend photoshop course delivered by Steve Cole (PRS M Magazine, UAL, Expansion Records) aimed at any musician or creative looking to learn about Photoshop from scratch and harness design skills for flyers, posters, album artwork, logos, merchandise and website content and copy.

Over the weekend you will learn about and practise:

– Navigation of Photoshop’s interface
– Crop and resize images
– Work with colour to edit and manipulate images
– Selection
– Creating unique images
– Work with layers
– Using brush tools
– Add text to images
– Create and use gradients
– Use Content-Aware features to professionally remove items from images
– Filters
– Saving documents
– Navigation shortcuts
– Advanced image editing
– Advanced layer techniques
– Adjustment layers and layer styles
– Smart objects
– Non-destructive image editing
– Masks
– Warping images
– Creating marketing collateral

Places limited to 10 per course so each student has their own terminal and access to Photoshop.
